I never thought I would say that but I like Ruby more and more with every ep. She is intriguing and devious and she has her own agenda... I like her definitely more than Bela because so far, I wasn't all that impressed with the "Lugosi" girl ;P

And some weeks ago, I had one of those "Duh!" moments when I realized that Bobby Singer was named after Robert Singer, the exec producer X) Yes, I'm slow, sue me :D I realized it when I read the interview with Jim Beaver where he said that when he came in for an audition, Robert Singer blew it off and offered him the job, making him a recurring character. That's like so cool!

1. The music is back! I mean the song when Sam and Dean walked into the bar? It felt like our old show was back!

2. Sam smiled a lot in the first scene at Bobby's. He was grinning when they, Sam and Dean, pushed Bobby's buttons, annoying him. That made me kinda happy :D

3. Robert Singer should write more scripts because this ep rocked. He himself said that he was into the character stuff a lot so no wonder this ep rocked!

4. Dean's leather jacket is back! *swoons*

You know, after watching the latest ep, it really felt like the show is back. Like really back. The first three eps were cool but this one rocked my socks! This is the first ep of this season that I feel the need to re-watch from the beginning to its end. I felt much more involved in the characters too. Yes, I'm quite happy with it, thank you :D

Oh, and since we are talking about TV shows, they are re-airing two of my favorite case-shows here every morning: Father Dowling Mysteries and Diagnosis: Murder. These are the shows that you can enjoy without getting too involved. They are simple who-dun-it series with almost no arcs or series mythology, the character development is also minimal and there are no on-the-show romances, just them solving cases and having fun.

I miss such shows these days. Now, every series has to have a huge background with the characters going through terrible, horrible, no good things from alcoholism over drug abuse to divorce etc. and they have to take everything really hard and have tons or problems... Hmpf! That's one of the reasons why I stopped watching Without a Trace because, dude! The blond Barbie there? I think that the Afro-American female agent was the only one with whom she didn't sleep *rolls eyes*
