Tony's tiptoeing towards the elevator when…
"DiNozzo!"
Slumping, Tony mutters: "Damn, so close!" When he turns around though, there's a smile plastered on face. "Yes, boss?"
Gibbs comes closer briskly but when he speaks, it's in a quiet voice. "Don't let them do it."
Tony frowns in confusion. "Boss?"
"McGee and Ziva," Gibbs explains and for once, he doesn't look annoyed or impatient. "Don't let them pressure you into anything that you're not ready for."
Tony's about to make some funny remark but Gibbs is using his "you're not gonna die" voice…
He smiles, grateful and sad at once. "Okay."
