Shalimar loved Brennan – of that there was no doubt.

But for Jesse… there's always been a special place in her heart for him.

From the first moment she saw this blond guy with soulful eyes who carried his heart on his sleeve, the wild cat in her claimed him as her cub. The swell of protectiveness that Shalimar felt every time someone hurt Jesse almost choked her and it usually ended with her, enraged to the point of insanity, pummeling the culprit, be it male or female, to the ground.

She was glad that Brennan was not a jealous guy!

Jesse was my favorite character in this series too. And I loved the sibling-like relationship between Shalimar and Jesse. In the first ep, when Emma hurt Jesse's feelings, I loved how Shalimar's eyes flashed yellow and she went to comfort Jesse. That was really aww-inducing :D
