Prompt: # 15, Part
Bodie kicked in the door, flattening himself against the wall, gun ready. Slowly, he moved in and didn't relax until he spotted his partner crouching over two dead bodies, sprawled on the carpet.
"Spring cleaning, sunshine?" Bodie quipped, checking the rest of the apartment.
"Disinfestation," Doyle answered, voice snarky, as he poked one of the bodies with his gun. "Rodent control."
Bodie smirked and clearing the other rooms to his satisfaction, he shoved his gun into his holster, reaching for the phone to call Cowley when Doyle's dismayed voice stopped him.
"Hell!" Doyle grumbled. "Now I'll have to move again!"

Thank you for your review :)
Pros???? Wow!
Date: 2007-10-27 11:18 pm (UTC)I wouldn't mind a little bit more here, I was a little confused as to what was going on. But man, I'm just excited to find a Pros story. (And yes, I have the whole series on DVD, it was the second thing I bought after getting my multi-region, multi-system player).

Now, switching topics. I tried to post this earlier and I lost my Internet connection (bloody dial-up, bloody rain, bad combo).
I've noticed a couple of rants here and there, on one of your Psych fics in particular that you can't find good angsty Psych fic. There's some really good fics out there (mind you, there's some awful stuff too, but that's on-line fic).
There's a couple of websites you should try.
www.fanfiction.net, then click TV Shows, then click *Psych*. It's THE oldest Fan Fiction website on the Internet (and has sections for virtually everything, including *Psych*). An account is free, though you don't need an account to read. You *do* need an account (pen names required) to post or to leave reviews. Accepts straight and slash up to a R (or M) rating. No NC-17. No lower age limit for members.
(So, yes, there's a lot of very young fans there. But there's folks who use betas too and have matured in their writing). (It's also a self-archiving site, pretty much accepts everything.)
www.psychfic.com
Claims to have editorial oversite, but I've never seen it.
Age restricted to over 13. I can't remember what the restrictions on ratings are, but I think it's up to R or M).
Does NOT accept any slash. Obviously, as the name suggests it's for Psych only.
There are some really good stories there, lots of hurt/comfort and angst. I'm currently reading a piece where Shawn comes back to Santa Barbara after a weekend away in San Francisco only to be told Henry died (at sea, so no body) and he just totally doesn't accept it - awesome fic. And another couple that have Henry pushing Shawn out of a present-day investigation because of secrets in his past. Another couple of probably awesome fics (unfortunately not completed yet, something that drives me nuts).

Date: 2007-10-28 09:59 am (UTC)Yup, I have a ff.net account with all my stories, Psych, Charmed and Supernatural lately, lotsa anime from two to four years ago...
I tried to read the stories in the Psychfic archive but there is a huge amount of stories that need a thorough beta :( The ideas are very good but the grammar/spelling mistakes... X( Besides, archives that completely refuse slash stories make me bristle. I may not usually write them but still :(
