Of this and that and fics

katikatI won't talk about the wank that's going around regarding Ponderosa's banning. I think that there has been enough said about it already. It's obvious that LJ is handling the situation badly but that's nothing new.
But what surprises me is the fact that people obviously think that making a back-up journal means that folks are panicking. I made a back-up journal over at GJ but I don't regard it as panic. I've been thinking about having another place to go to since the power outage and some other problems that LJ encountered in the last couple of weeks. I love LJ and I have no intention to migrate anywhere else but a GJ or a Vox account is another way to talk to or track down friends in times when LJ is down for one reason or another *shrugs* If you have another account elsewhere but don't want to friend me again over there it's up to you. I have posted all my other accounts in my LJ and now it's up to you.

angelstart was talking about her WIPs in her LJ and that forced me to actually finish my Priest!Dean fic! Yes, it's finished and shipped over to my beta. 2 500 words in the end. I wanted to make it longer but after two months, I kinda forgot in what direction I wanted to take it. So, if you'll have the feeling that the fic ended rather abruptly or changed directions half-ways, it's the two months that passed between its start and completion *shrugs*
Now, my WIPs - the ones that I actually intend to finish - are:
Psych: an as of yet untitled gen fic that I started last night: 2037 words so far
Charmed: gen fic with the title "The Wish": 1350 words
Gorgeous Carat: Rey/Floréan fic "Innocent Souls", sequel to "Carnival of Souls": 6434 words
*cracks knuckles*
At the moment, I'm reading "Fatal Shadows" by Josh Lanyon and it's exactly what I needed after the disappointment that was "Grave Sight" by Charlaine Harris. Hurray to gay amateur sleuths! :)
