Some things make me sad...

katikatYou know, I love to write fics and I do it because it feels really great to see all those bunnies on screen, it feels good to tell a real story. I usually don't receive much feedback, don't know if it's because my writing is so bad or whatever but that's not the point here.
The point and the saddest thing is that when one of those big names, a prolific fanfic author, writes a story with a plot twist that's like a clone of the one that you used in a story that you posted months ago, readers literally stumble over each other praising said author, congratulating them on their oh so original idea, rec'ing them all over the place, in every possible comm...
Things like these make me wonder why I even bother *shakes head*
PS: I withheld the author's name and the title of their fic on purpose. Nobody besides me noticed the similarities anyway.
