Army Wives 1x01

Hah, I finally got around to watch Army Wives and it's actually quite good :) All the women are interesting but for me... it's all about Roxy and Trevor. If I could choose, I would make the whole show about them.

Drew Fuller is excellent as Trevor and you can really feel his need to have a family! And Sally Pressman rocks as Roxy. It looks like Roxy is older than Trevor - or is it just me? Drew Fuller sure likes roles where his love interests are older. Trevor, Chris... :D He can pull off strong but oh so vulnerable amazingly well!

And what I loved best?
- The first scene in the bar. Soul mates, the ring, the engagement...
- The bathroom scene with Roxy in her underwear! Heh, she rocks!
- The hospital scene with Trevor sleeping with his step-son in his lap. Aww... I have to make an icon of that! *g*

I think that some writers could take example from Roxy when writing strong females :)

According to this article, Army Wives is the highest rated show that was ever produced by Lifetime. The first season will have 13 eps but there is a good possibility that there will be another season, if the ratings hold :)

The only reason why I want to watch that show is because of Trevor. He just made me melt, and he's worth putting up with that "Desperate Housewives" feel.

I've never watched Desperate Housewives but I have this kink for older women/younger men or for protective women :)
