"Could you…?“ Sam asks anxiously.

Dean unfolds the paper with confidence that his shaking hands belie and scans the content for the most important piece of information.

Sam shuffles his feet, rubbing his sweaty palms against his jean-clad thighs. He tries to calm down his wildly beating heart, praying silently.

"It’s negative,“ Dean whispers finally.

But before Sam can breathe out in relief, his brother’s fist catches him hard in the face. He drops to the ground and with bloody lips, he looks up at Dean, confused.

"If you ever forget to use protection again, I’ll kick your ass!“

The first thing that came to mind when I finished reading this was Sweeet. Dean is totally the kind of guy to *always* use protection and his reaction to the test rang very true. Lovely. :D
