Finally, it's colder outside!

Finally! Today, the temperatures dropped to 16°C, it's cloudy and it rains a lot. Not the best weather usually but after the heat wave, it's really refreshing :)

It really miffs me that only 1 mil. and something people watch Supernatural on Sunday but on the other hand, with no advertisement and with 7th Heaven as a lead show, what should we expect? But last Thursday, we kicked Smallville's ass! SV 2 mil., SPN 2.06 mil! I mean, to be better than the lead show and in this time slot? Huzzah for us!

I see people asking what season of Supernatural did fans like better. It's hard to say because the seasons were so different. The first one had undoubtedly better stand-alone stories. But the second season had much better show mythology so...

Does it make me a bad SPN fan when I say that I actually liked Jo? Not as a love interest for Dean but I liked her character. Once they stopped trying to force her and Dean together that is. I mean, they had such a cool chemistry when they acted like an older brother and a younger sister. And I actually liked that Jo was pining after him and that it was making him uncomfortable. I think that it was a nice change because Dean is usually portrayed as a ladies man. The bar scene with the both of them in Everybody Loves a Clown, you know, the "wrong place, wrong time" one, was my favorite from that ep! :)

And now some fic recs! Both Supernatural and gen this time!

"Dad, Can I Keep Him?" by fiesty_red is a pre-series curse!fic. A hoodoo priest turns Dean into a dog for hitting on his daughter. The whole fic is written from Sam's POV and it's so cute. There is humor and there is the boys being brothers but you can still feel the love they have for each other. A great fic to start a day with :)

"How To Save a Life" by EFW is a coda to Born Under a Bad Sign in which Dean's wound gets infected and Sam has to save his brother using his google-fu and basic resources. Great!

Nope, doesn't make you a bad fan at all... I know some people liked her, and I personally didn't, but it's a matter of opinion, not how good of a fan you are.

Exactly; I'm not sure I can choose between the two for that reason. I'm not sure I'd even to, to be honest :-) I can say that in N3 my favourite season is the first one; then it's followed with the third, and the second season is last, but as far as SPN is concerned, I can't make the disctinction.

Btw, I received Scarred yesterday and started reading the last novel straight away and hee I love it!

S1 of N3 is my favorite season too. The other two... I don't know, it just feels like there isn't enough "love" between the brothers for my liking. But then maybe it's because SPN spoiled me rotten :D

Heh, I knew you would love Scarred! My least favorite novel is His Song. Nothing happens there, to be honest :( Windows is really hot and The VR Palace is really touching :)
