katikat | Friending meme and a fic rec

Okay, is it just me or is the friending meme over at

obsessions_r_us very anti-slash oriented? Nobody who just mentions liking slash (God forbid Wincest) is friended or even taken notice of. And a lot of people make point of stating how they don't like Wincest (or slash in that matter). I say, hey, whatever floats their boat, really, but even though I don't read many het stories, I can't say that I dislike them in general. I mean, there are some really great Dean/Ellen fics out there after all and in the

spnstoryfinders, I especially asked for stories with/about Andrea or Sarah or Kathleen, because these girls? They rocked!

And the fic rec? Well, you know my opinion of RPS stories, right? I have nothing against them but most of them make me really uncomfortable. But last night, I just couldn't resist any longer and had to read "The Jared Padalecki Untitled Project" by

esohpe. It's being rec'ed all over the comms etc. as one of the best RPS stories out there so I told myself "what the heck!" and gave it a try... Lets just say that I didn't turn in until 3 AM because I just had to finish reading it. This is made of awesome! A very long, very detailed story about what JA and JP's lives could be like if they had a fall-out that ended with one of them pulling out of Supernatural. Very, very angsty :)
