I know that most fans of Supernatural will consider my words blasphemous, but if I should choose between Bobby and John, I would choose Bobby any day. I just like him better than John Winchester. Don't get me wrong, I have loved Jeffrey Dean Morgan something fierce since I saw him in Burning Zone, but I think that John's presence disrupted the chemistry between Sam and Dean whereas Bobby strengthens it. He is also a better father figure, at least in my opinion. The talk he had with Dean in the junkyard spoke volumes :)

I so agree with you about Bobby. I got the right vibe from him since Devil's Trap. I'd love to have him as a show regular.

I'm totally with you. *nods* I sometimes want to throttle John, for the inferiority complex he gave Dean. Yes, it makes him adorable, but seriously.

Exactly! The look Bobby gave Dean when he realized that Dean doesn't have just low self-esteem, he has no self-esteem whatsoever... Dean defines himself in relationships to others - to his father, to Sam, but standing alone, he is nothing. Iin the last ep, it was amazingly well done how he fell apart.
