RL, work and Supernatural
Jun. 15th, 2007 02:56 pmFinally! We replaced the old window in our kitchen with a new one made of plastic. It took the craftsmen three days to finish it! And then my Mum painted the room yesterday. The last four days, all I did was clean and clean and cleanandcleanandclean! So, if I sounded rather irritated, that's my explanation *huffs*
Wow, the Supernatural Promo that reputedly won the contest is amazing. You can watch it here. I've seen people complain that there isn't enough of the Winchester boys there or that there are too many girls there... On the other hand, the Winchester brothers won't pull in more viewers. Scary stuff, action and *takes a deep breath* girls can maybe do the job. The song and the voice-over is just perfect and sets the mood in an amazing way. Yes, I like it very much, thank you :)
You know, Fiona McIntosh's "The Quickening Trilogy" and Michael Williams' "Weasel's Luck" will be the death of mine, really. Their style is so figurative that it's not even funny and Williams obviously thinks he is the new Thomas Mann with his complicated paragraph-long sentences. Yes, I'm correcting my translations. How did you guess? :P
I kinda decided to stay away from the
supernatural_tv community. Not so much because of spoilers but because of the hateful way in which the fans behave there. It's spoiling all the fun for me. It's been days since I really got into reading fanfics or watching song vids etc. And that's making me sad :(
