So, my boss gave me my first task!

I have to read and review Tom Lloyd's "The Stormcaller" book. It looks quite interesting and it's always good to get paid for reading fantasy books *beams*

When that's finished, I will start translating PN Elrod's "The Vampire Files". It's a supernatural mystery book set in Chicago in the 1930th. Jack, the Vampire, and Charles, the Englishman, work as Private Investigators and get into a lot of troubles. I loved the book so much that I bought my own copy in English! *excited*

The Vampire Files are excellent. And not just in my opinion. Amazon has excellent reviews too. I love Charles Escott! He is a walking dictionnary and oh so polite. He has done everything, saw everything and knows everything. He is simply cool. But the book won't be easy to translate. I have to differentiate the way Jack talks and the way Escott talks since Jack is an American and Escott an Englishman. It'll be a pain X(

And the The Stormcaller book is really good too! I will have to recommend that one to my boss!

Could you not use one Czech accent for English and another for American? Or do the regional variations in Czech not come across in the written form *is curious*?

Well, I will have to use the various layers of the Czech language like the difference between "dobrĂ½ den" and "brej den" etc. but it's really not easy for me because I try to speak correctly without these dialectical shades X(
