This morning, I finished Mark Anthony's "The Keep of Fire", the second book in the "Last Rune" series, and oh my gosh, I love Travis Wilder. And Beltan. They are super cute together, let me tell ya. In this one, we found out more about the background of all the characters, especially Melia but Grace too. I'm really happy about being able to say that I like the female characters in Anthony's books. They are not simpering girls but strong women that use their brain but feel no need to prove themselves to the men. Although you actually feel sad for all the heroes after what the dragon told them... My heart ached especially for Durge :(
I decided to not pick up the third book in the series immediately but to take a different one (I found out that when I read all the books in a series one after the other, I don't enjoy them as much as when I take breaks in between the books). This time, it's Terri Beckett's and Chris Power's "Tribute Trail". It's a m/m fantasy about Kherin, the Goddess' Chosen, and Rythian, the Sun Stallion. I'm really curious about that one since it's been on my wish list for so long before I was able to buy it (Amazon was rather obstinate with that one).
And huzzah for the animated Witchblade!!!
