Book, manga and a bit of RL trouble

katikatI finished reading "The Magic in Your Touch" by Sara Bell. It's a very good gay "Harlequin" story. Nate and Brandon are simply gorgeous and Brandon's family is teh cuteness :D Especially his Grandma and Grandpa. These two are a hoot, really. This book is a great mix of mystery, romance, angst and comedy, even though after reading the first half, you are already almost certain who the baddie is. The romance is hot with our two boys having great sex. And the comedy? Well, lets just that it's not easy to buy KY Jelo Jumbo Pack anonymously when every third person in the town is related to you. And since the boys - and especially Nate - are real trouble magnets, the book is full of angst and h/c too. I would give it 4 stars out of 5 and recommend it wholeheartedly!
And for a change of pace, I decided to read a manga now. And so I picked up Yun Kouga's "Earthian, Vol. 2". I didn't like the OVAs much since they felt too chopped off and didn't make much sense without the manga. But the manga itself is gorgeous. BLU gave it a wonderful cover and the volumes are very thick (over 300 pages). And the story is wonderful. You get to know Chihaya and Kagetsuya much better, you learn how they met and how they were split up, how they fought with the baddies or simply lived together. Unlike the 1st volume, the 2nd one is in chronological order and popular characters like Elvira, Taki or Seraphim appear again.
But as much as I love Chihaya and Kagetsuya, what's fascinates me most is the relationship between Lord Michael and Lord Raphael. They love each other but can't touch each other since according to Eden's law homosexual relationships between angels are punishable by death. It's amazing how Raphael is totally obsessed with Michael to the point where he completely neglects his wife Lady Gabriel because even though they have to sleep together to reproduce, he doesn't feel any desire for her. For Michael though... Truly amazing. There is much more about them in the 2nd volume and there is a mystery behind the death of Michael's younger sister Lady Lucifel whom Raphael hated so much that he wished it had been him who killed her. Curious!
I compared the old drawings of Kouga's - Earthian - to her new ones - Loveless - and let me tell you that I like her older stuff better. When you take a look at Earthian, you see the hours and hours of work she put into it. But then I took a look at the latest volume of Loveless and... it seemed rushed and unfinished as if it was drawn by some kid and not a pro. I'm really disappointed :(
But go and buy Earthian! It's worth every penny!
And now to my RL troubles. My internet provider has this system - you pay in advance and he puts your money to your "account" and he charges all you download/upload to this account. But when it drops in the red numbers, you are disconnected. The thing is that I sent my money and he received it... But he still hasn't added it to my account... He seems to have some troubles with this gorgeous (/sarcasm) system of his. And if he doesn't do it until the end of the month, I will be disconnected. I tried to send emails, I even called him today and he promised to add it, and promised and promised and still nothing... So, should I suddenly disappear, it's all my providers fault... And then God help him!
