Movies on DVD 47/50: Skyline

A very, very B kind of a sci-fi movie. The special effects were great but the story was boring and the cast entirely made of TV actors. It's a movie about an alien invasion told from the POV of innocent bystanders, not the military, not those who save the day, but of ordinary people who get caught up in the mess and can only watch while others try to stop the monsters. I'll give it points for an unhappy, open ending, that it did not end on a very patriotic chest-thumping note, but that's it. Eh.
