I loved this season - until they killed off Vega. That was completely unnecessary. I get that they didn't want to end it too happy, too mushy, too rosy - but her death was not necessary, she could've been simply shot and undergo long recuperation, there could've been a permanent injury or something. But that? No. Just no.
After her death, it seemed like the whole show went down the drain, especially with Cho going ballistics and Jane urging Lisbon to quit her job - I hate it, HATE IT when characters do that. Usually, it's women doing that to heir husbands, but the other way around it's no better. Dude, Jane, you fell in love with Lisbon the FBI Agent, not a potter or a gardener. You dealt with it for years and years and years. And suddenly, it's like they flipped a switch with him. And I really don't like the change.
The latest episode was pretty much a set-up for the series finale, so we'll see how it goes. I just hope Jane gets his head straight!
