AMAZING! ALL THE FEELS! LOVED IT!

All the good-byes Neal staged without his closest ones realizing it: June, Mozzie, El... The moment at the ambulance. And in the morgue...

And now Mozzie knows! He found out the day Peter received the bottle and that's why he finally accepted an invitation to the Burkes, to say his own good-bye. The card he left in the container told that to Peter, that Mozzie was on his way to Neal! Peter's grin at that!

And Peter's huge, blinding smile when he realized that Neal conned him, that Neal was alive! He was so very, very happy!

At first I wasn't really happy about the fact that Neal went back to being a thief - but there was no other option, was there? Even if he had received a full pardon, he would've been still doing cons, just the "small stuff" as he told Mozzie. Neal finally realized and accepted that he was a conman, but it didn't have to mean he had to be like Keller.

And as Jeff Eastin said in this interview, for Peter, the "game's afoot" again, the chase is on. Because, as much as he loves his settled life, he loves the thrill of the chase more. And thus, Neal once again becomes Peter's "other woman," the one he won't give up, not even for El. Because he promised El a family life - but the moment he gets the chance to chase after Neal again, off he goes, promises be damned. And I love that.

You know, the whole show long, I considered El/Peter/Neal my OT3. But S6... I understood El's POV, I really did, but the whole baby thing... eh. I loved Peter and El because they were two career people who didn't need a child to feel fulfilled. But once she got pregnant... She dropped her career, then he dropped his career... for a kid? Why? Diana managed being a career woman AND a single mother. Why not Peter and El?

And with how the show ended and in the light of the interview I linked under the cut... I now actually COULD see, from a shipper's point, Peter ending up with Neal, whereas I couldn't even imagine that before. But as Jeff Eastin said, Peter loves his settled life, but he loves the thrill of the chase more. He loves what he has with Neal more than what he has with El.

Lovely. SO VERY LOVELY! \o/\o/\o/
