Doctor Who 301-306

katikatSo, I'm halfway through S3, 10 and Martha Jones. And so far, I feel really sorry for Martha. The Doctor is treating her like a poor replacement of the perfect model, if you know what I mean. She has to continually remind him that she's her own person and that she is good enough to travel with him. It kinda sucked all the pleasure out of their adventures.
So far, my favorite episode was Gridlock, them visiting New Earth. I actually cried when the Face of Boa died :(
And, of course, Martha has an irritating, I-know-better mother. What is it with RTD and harpies for mums? Does he have issues with his own mother or what? I mean she believes a stranger, a complete stranger rather than her own daughter when it comes to the Doctor? SERIOUSLY?! When she claimed that Martha "abandoned" them when she ran off to help the Doctor, I really wanted to punch her right in her wrinkled old face, selfish hag!
Oh, look Andrew Garfield! And Gugu Mbatha-Raw! And Mark Gatiss! Ha!
