katikatGosh, that was so, so good! Exactly what I wanted: more Stilinski family feels, more McCall family feels, more Scott and Stiles feels!
I guess we now know why Stiles will be more affected by the darkness than the others - because his door isn't ajar anymore, he not only opened it but walked through! I think Scott and Allison will be able to close theirs or at least stop them from opening fully thanks to Deaton's warning. But Stiles got the warning too late. I think the distinction between "ajar" and "open" will be important because Deaton corrected Scott when he said "open". You could see Stiles' expression when he realized it.
I love Melissa and that she stood up for the sheriff. They all know why he wasn't able to solve any of the cases. And I loved it when she pulled Scott away, noticing he was about to change. Scott's dad's expression! I wonder if he will find out too.
I like Kira so far. Very, very much.
And I like that the kids aren't politically correct. Lydia is enjoying herself because now she is not the only crazy person around. Isaac is joking about it too. And Stiles and Scott are being jerks too. Because that right there, that's teenagers in a nutshell. High school life is no Glee after school special. And to demand that kids suffering from magical PTSD be PC is quite LOL-worthy.
I loved all the scenes with Stiles. When Stiles' dad woke him up and then held him. I wonder how long Stiles will be able to keep it from his father, that he's literally losing his mind. When Stiles admitted to Scott that he was losing his ability to read and to discern what's real and what's a dream...
