Movies: Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List
Aug. 17th, 2016 11:34 pmFinally got around to watch this! I dl'd it because it's not available on DVD, AFAIK. It's a sweet story about two best friends, Naomi (who's straight) and Ely (who's gay). They are actually both pretty awful people and they do suffer a bit before they learn to be better.
But I got this movie mainly because of Matt Daddario who plays Gabriel the Doorman, the main witness of all the hoopla going on in the apartment building. And I found his character the most interesting, TBH. When we found out that he had to drop out of college and take this job because he needed to take care of his sick mother who then died, and he is now stuck in this job with no education and no future, his music being the only happy thing in his life - his music and Naomi - my heart just broke for him.
A good movie, nothing special, though.
