Sherlock Special Promo
Oct. 13th, 2015 10:07 amI love that they know how to show the TONE of the thing but at the same time, they don't tell you anything about it. At all. What's the case? Why? How? What...?!
Also, what I adore about Sherlock is that there's no outside reason for why both he and Mycroft are the way they are. No childhood trauma, no abuse, no... whatever. They have loving parents, smart parents, they are just too intelligent for their own good and that's why they get bored easily which leads to their escapades. I love that this series shows that you are the way you are and if the people around you can't deal with that, well, that's bloody well their own problem.
I love that both Mycroft and Sherlock are so unapologetically... them. But I also love that John makes Sherlock want to be a better person - well, maybe not for the sake of the general public, the general public can go and screw itself, but for John and to John. The character development Sherlock has gone through between 101 and 303 is amazing. I doubt very much that the 101 Sherlock would willingly sacrifice his own freedom for John, but the 303 Sherlock did it, without hesitation, because for the first time, he considered someone as more important than himself. And that's wonderful.
