This looks amazing. And I'm really looking forward to it. At the same time, whenever I remember that Paul Walker's dead and there won't be any more FF movies with Brian O'Conner, who's my favorite character in all the series, my chest clenches up and my eyes start burning. Damn you, Paul!

Title: Underworld (2003)

Cast: Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, Sophia Myles

Rating: 8/10

Selene and Michael. One of my Top 10 OTPs EVER! They embody everything I love in a ship, meaning woman being the dominant partner. She kicks so much ass, she's the knight in shining armor and Michael is the damsel in distress and it's GLORIOUS! Also, Kate Beckinsale looks AMAZING in black latex, hot damn!

But it's not just the main ship that I adore, it's the cinematography, the fight scenes, the music... simply the vampires walking down the corridor, looking all bad-ass in long leather coats... The blue tinge of the whole movie. Sheesh! \o/

I know that Scott Speedman refused to be in the 4th movie but if they ever make a fifth one, I hope they convince him to come back and finish Selene and Michael's story. Or that they reboot/remake/continue it as a TV show. I would love to see this, Selene and Michael, them against the world, every week, even with different actors...

Title: Alien Agent (2007)

Cast: Mark Dacascos, Amelia Cooke, Billy Zane, Emma Lahana

Rating: 3/10

Good grief, that was bad. I mean, it's a B sci-fi movie, I don't expect Oscar material from this kind of films. But some at least have engaging characters. This one though... It started in an interesting way: an alien agent has to stop a commando of criminals from his planet from invading Earth. Sounds intriguing, right? Wrong. Unnecessary female nudity, completely illogical decisions, fights won and lost at random... Nyah.

I like Mark Dacascos. And I was excited to see Emma Lahana again - Jennifer from Haven - but... Eh. I'm not sure if it was the script's or the director's fault but even actors like Lahana who usually do a really good job - see Haven - were really bad here. Lahana's character burst into tears at random, tried to climb Dacascos' character, Rykker, like a tree... As I said, eh.

The only interesting thing - Rykker's relationship with Isis - was left almost unexplained even though they should've been very close at one point and now fought for opposite sides... Yeah, I'm disappointed. 3 stars for Dacascos kicking ass a few times, that's always nice to watch.
