It's just the first two seasons but, gosh, it's wonderful. I love their friendship so very, very much. I think one of the best scenes between them was this one:

Stiles: I want to help, you know, but I can't do the things that you can do. I can't -

Scott: It's okay.

Because it really is okay with Scott. He doesn't need more muscle, he needs Stiles' brain and his friendship, not necessarily in this order.

Book #6

"Black Flag (Assassin's Creed #6)" by Oliver Bowden

Rating: ♦ ♦ ♦

Edward Kenway was being an arrogant, selfish, greedy prick for good 3/4 of the book, so for once, I didn't feel sorry for the main character when he got his ass kicked because he needed to be taken down a peg or three. And even knowing his fate - see book #5 - I didn't shed a tear for him. He wasn't evil, but he also wasn't a saint against whom the fate conspired, he caused much grief and that had to have consequences, he deserved what he got.

What I did like was how the author made famous historical figures like Blackbeard, Mary Read, Anne Bonny or Black Bart, places like Nassau or Havana, a part of the story. For that Bowden gets a thumb up!

Favorite Male Character: Stiles Stilinski

Gosh, I love the guy so much. He's sarcastic and sweet and funny and loyal and smart and brave and just as broken as everyone else in their little pack. And he loves his father very, very much. Also, he's really, really gorgeous. I mean, have you seen his eye-lashes?

Quote:

I'm 147 pounds of pale skin and fragile bones. Sarcasm is my only defense.

Don't forget, UK BASED FOLKS! The Three Musketeers on BBC tonight, at 9pm! Gosh, Peter Capaldi as Richelieu and Santiago Cabrera as Aramis! Mwah! \o/

Also, speaking of Aramis. I really hope this show will dig deeper into his background, especially into his connection to Richelieu. AFAIK, only the movie with Chris O'Donnell ever even mentioned it. I mean, Aramis was the go-to guy for Queen Anne, it was he who helped organize her clandestine meetings with the Duke of Buckingham. How could a lowly musketeer do that? We know that he had wanted to be a priest before he joined the musketeers and since he obviously still has some very powerful connections, he must have been high-born, he must have known Richelieu personally... And yet, no adaptation EVER explored that! Gosh, I wish and hope that this time they do. Can you imagine Aramis as Richelieu's protégé? *_*
