I don't care what anybody says, I love this movie. I loved all the twist and turns, the fact that Jack noticed all the small details that escaped everybody else, that he unraveled the whole conspiracy. That whenever I thought I had it figured out, something changed and with it the whole picture. And that, in the end, it wasn't about terrorism or anything similar, but about greed, pure and simple.
And I also don't care that Tom Cruise doesn't look anything like the Jack Reacher in Lee Child's books, that he is no tall tank of a man. Just the opposite. I love that he's of average height and largely inconspicuous. Because of that, everybody in the movie underestimated Jack and it was a pleasure to watch him kick everybody's ass. I also loved that Jack never got angry. He was always calm, always kind and smiling and if you left him alone, he didn't cause any troubles. That was lovely. I love characters like that.
And Jai Courtney was in it. And the author himself, Lee Child, had a cameo in it! Fun times :)
