Empire posted a breakdown of the X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer, with added commentary by Bryan Singer: link. Some great insights there. I'm now looking forward to the movie more than ever!

Back-breaking fight scenes are given in a movie like this. What was really amazing, though, were the female characters. I was smitten with them, both with Emu O'Hara (played by Julie Condra) and with Lady Hanada (played by Yoko Shimada). They were both so strong, each in a different way, and they went after what they wanted no matter the cost. And yet, Lady Hanada had a code of honor that she strictly followed - like when she killed her lover when he tried to ambush Yo and Emu, she killed him despite being fond of him because she gave her word that neither her nor her people would go after Yo and Emu. It's really amazing, the weight a word of honor still carries in the Japanese society.
Another thing that's beautiful is, that Mark Dacascos and Julie Condra fell in love during this movie, married and have been together ever since, 18 years now.
I also plan to get the manga. I know that it's very different from the movie, but then, what comic book/manga isn't? I would just like to read the original story.

Oct. 30th, 2013 11:31 pmI really loved the character of Lorelei. Yes, she was a whacko of epic proportions and it was obvious from the start that it couldn't end in any other way for her, still... I really liked her relationship with Jane. It was... different, very intriguing. You never knew if they actually had feelings for each other or if they were just using each other to get what they wanted. And now Jane will feel responsible for another woman's death. Ouch :(
The funniest thing in these three episodes? When Jane taught first Bertram and then Lisbon how to win at poker. And when Cho and Rigsby bickered about whose dinosaur was better - and no, that's not an euphemism.
My favorite quote?

Rigsby: How can you like Triceratops more than T-Rex?
Cho: T-Rex are losers. Little arms. It's a chicken with teeth.
