I understand that to enjoy a manga like this, you need to suspend your disbelief. And I can do that - boy, can I do that and enjoy the most ridiculous, over-the-top stuff! But this manga, it simply rubbed me wrong. Not only because everybody treated Kairi like a girl - and no, that's not me looking down on women, the characters were literally calling Kairi Sho's wife! - but Sho's attitude towards Kairi... The last straw for me was when he told Kairi that it was the wife's duty to take care of and satisfy her husband. WTF! No, just no.

* The episode where Eliot was singing country! The writers talked about Alona Tal and John Schneider, about what a pleasure it was to do the episode with them. The song Eliot was singing? It was one of Christian Kane's unpublished songs. He gave them 3 to choose from and they went with this one and he taught Alona Tal how to sing it and how to pretend to teach him play guitar. Aww...

* And the one with Eliot and Hardison running handcuffed through the woods! The commentary was hilarious! And I'm so happy that Clancy Brown, the actor who played the bad guy, is a sweet, nice man. I've liked him since Earth 2!

* LOL at Aldis Hodge calling himself "sexual chocolate"!

* Oh, I didn't know that Beth Riesgraf, who plays Parker, has a son and when he visited her on the set, she crawled with him through the ventilation shafts that Parker always gets saddled with!

* Loved the tidbit about Christian Kane's tendency to twirl and flip props. He always does that. With everything. Aldis Hodge suggested they should try to give him a chair to play with next season. One of the execs said, hell no, he would find a way to flip that one too, better not! LOL.

* Oh, another thing. Eliot's slide and kick in the ep with Richard Chamberlain? Christian Kane's idea. It wasn't scripted. Just like the whole bickering between Eliot and Hardison in the woods in a later ep, all adlibbed by both Christian and Aldis, they just went at it and the crew was in stitches! LOL!

Oh my, remember when Sam was folding origami out of Callen's lollipop wrappers because he was bored? And Callen thought it was a frog? Or a duck? HILARIOUS!

Or when Sam remembered how long they've been partners? To the day?

Or when Hetty flirted with Sinatra and George Hamilton? And possibly with the sherpas in Nepal? And when she had to hide in a cake?

Or when Callen flirted with Agent Giordano and it was insanely hot because she was awesomely awesome? And when he considered a string of one-night stands an empty life?

Or when Dom lost Hetty's button camera?

Man, good old times!

My favorite quotes:

Callen: Too many bullet holes in me, Sam. I’d sink.

Callen: (About an origami figure Sam made.) Is that a frog?
Sam: It's a swan.
Callen: From where, Chernobyl?

Nate: Whoa, what happened?
Callen: Kaleem's dead.
Nate: How?
Callen: Shot.
Sam: Blown up.
Dom: You guys are thorough.

Hetty: Is that blood, Mr. Hanna?
Sam: Mostly.
Hetty: Yours?
Callen: Other guy's.
Hetty: Can we bill him?
Sam: Not anymore.

Hetty: Take her out to dinner. After the case is over.
Callen: Agent Giordano?
Hetty: Hmm and take Sam the next night, you know how he gets.
