Robocop Remake Trailer

This actually looks really good. And to people who complain about how lame this will be compared to the original: no, just no. I loved the original as a kid. But now that I saw it again few months ago? Sheesh on a pogo stick it didn't age well. I actually LOL'd several times. Don't get me wrong, Peter Weller was amazing as Robocop, the way he moved, the way he acted Murphy's robotic persona... That was amazing. But the rest? Cheap B-movies are better today.

So yeah, at first I pretty much rolled my eyes when I heard about it but after seeing this? BRING IT! Hopefully, all the good parts weren't stuffed into the trailer.

White Collar S5 Promo

Looks really great. But there are several things that make me think this season will be WhiCo's last. USA moved it to the fall and cut its order by 3 episodes. Hagen aka the Dutchman is back which means full circle, return to the beginning. And Jeff Eastin was talking about Neal's endgame. He also ( spoilers )

I think this all points towards S5 being its last and I will watch it with this in mind, so that I'm not disappointed when it doesn't get a pick-up.

The Bourne Identity

The Bourne Identity is my least favorite of all the Bourne movies. Still, after all the metrosexual Bond movies, especially the last two with Pierce Brosnan, Matt Damon's type of a special agent felt like a breath of fresh air, someone who got down and dirty, who didn't look like a mannequin all the time - yes, my favorite Bond is Daniel Craig, how did you guess?

But why do I actually like this particular Bourne movie least? Well...

a) There's too much Marie and I don't like Marie. I don't know if it's the character or the actress, Franka Potente, whom I've liked in exactly one movie so far, Lola rennt. In everything else she just seemed... bored. So yeah, I don't like Marie. I very much prefer Aaron Cross' Marta, thank you very much.

b) There's very little Nicki. And Nicki is awesome.

c) No Pamela Landy.

But one big plus? Clive Owen! I completely forgot he was in it.

It's not that the movie's bad, FAR from it, Bourne >>> Bond every time for me, but the next two movies in the trilogy are much, much better, IMHO.
