Seriously, I keep forgetting about this!

Sousuke Sagara, Full Metal Panic

Sousuke is strong, capable and kick-ass, brave and self-sacrificing. But also a bit... thick, you could say. Having been raised among guerrilla warriors, he has no social grace. Social clues have no meaning to him - much to Kaname's furious exasperation. His paranoia - in many cases justified! - drives Kaname up the wall which leads to many hilarious situations.

Amazon DE's having a sale! They have The Persuaders AKA Die Zwei for €29.97 only! Yes, the German dub version in which Tony speaks in tongues and the hilarity of their banter is sharpened to perfection! Usually, they sell the 8 DVD box set for €42-44. Gosh! When I saw the price, I immediately ordered it. Yes, I promised myself not to buy anything even remotely DVD-shaped for some time but this was an offer of a lifetime!

Gooooooooooosh, I can't wait to get my paws on it. I will be gorging myself silly! Danny! Brett! Brett's crazy family! Danny's on and off fortune! Hijinks across Europe!

I couldn't decide what to watch so I settled on The Listener. I've wanted to re-watch S1 and catch up on S2+3 for ages and this was a good opportunity.

I like the show much better the second time around. But I don't remember Det. Charlie Marks being this annoying. Like, Toby keeps giving her the best tips thanks to his telepathy and every time he comes to her, she blows him off and tells him not to bother her. I mean, seriously! How many people would've died already if Toby had listened to her and let stuff go? And then, when Charlie saves the day and the victim thanks to Toby, she gets even angrier at him? Why? Grr!

My favorite part is Toby's friendship with Oz. I just adored the scene where Toby told Oz about his telepathy and, yeah, sure, Oz freaked out a bit, but then he went all "OMG! THAT'S AWESOME! I'LL BE YOUR SIDEKICK!" LOL, he's precious.

The one thing I don't care about is the bit about Toby's past, his search for his mother, the mysterious guy who was after them, stuff like that. I do like that they deal with the fact that Toby is a foster kid, but the whole mystery about his past? Eh. From what I heard, they dropped that bit in S2 and I'm grateful for that, as much as I hate loose ends.
