LA Times posted a truly wonderful article in which JGL talks about living in LA and other things. It gave me warm fuzzies, don't know why, it just did. I will repost the whole thing under a cut because it's just so sweet, him talking about being neighbors with Rian Johnson - who's, according to Joe, a good cook! - and what it means to live in LA...

I basically like to watch movies and eat. )

Vulture posted an interesting graphic that proves that the careers of JGL, LaBeouf and Gosling follow pretty much the same curve: link (larger pic available there). It made me want to re-watch Young Hercules! Loved that show :)

"the red lantern" by veritas-nescio | Arthur/Eames | It's almost impossible to find your way home if an architect hasn't designed the layers, but having someone looking for you helps immensely. | ~4.100

Eames doesn’t plan on settling on the bed next to him, he doesn’t really have a plan at all. But the loss of Arthur’s presence is a physical ache that he had felt from an entirely different country, and propping himself on one elbow next to Arthur on the bed allows him at least the illusion of closeness. He reaches up to run a gentle thumb over the fine line of Arthur’s eyebrow, hoping for a flicker beneath the pale eyelids, not surprised when he doesn’t get it.

Great fic. I really admire veritas_nescio's imagination. It's wonderful, so, so wonderful. Her Arthur and Eames are always so tender with each other.

OMG! OMGOMGOMG! What a wonderful, amazing, beautiful, uplifting, hilarious, sweet movie! Hands down, one of the best romances I've ever seen, het OR gay. Featuring Piper Perabo (Rachel) and Lena Headey (Luce) as two women who fall in love at first sight - at Rachel's wedding. But love won't be denied and theirs is a thing to behold.

I was so glad to finally find a movie where being gay/lesbian simply did not matter, it wasn't an issue that everybody in sight had to moan about. Rachel and Luce were simply in love. And it was marvelous!

And also quite funny! Anthony Stewart Head plays Rachel's father. And Angel Coulby Rachel's ex-husband's, Heck's, possible new flame. And there are scenes where you simply LOL, like when Cooper, Heck's best friend and a promiscuous prick, tries to seduce Luce - only to become her friend, just for now, though! Or when Heck talks about Rachel's mother having a "sex radar"! Or when Heck and Rachel try to have sex in the park - only to be surprised by a gay couple doing the same behind a tree!

Man, I love the movie. I seriously love it, without restraint. It's gorgeous! If you want to see a film that will make you feel better about the world, get your hands on this one, you won't regret it!
