-- CBS renewed the canceled Unforgettable for a 13 ep long S2 that will air next summer: link. Another show I don't watch but maybe someone on my flist does?

So, there's an article about the new Star Trek movie, about the journey Jim Kirk will have to undergo as a captain, that he will have learn to what it really means to BE a captain, like sending people to their deaths etc.: link.

Star Chris Pine expands on that point, revealing that a major driver of Kirk's further growth is the villain, played by Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch:

As you know from Benedict, just watching him, vocally, he's fascinating. He's got this deep resonate voice. He's a fascinating face. He's a lovely guy and just super smart.
