"Under The Christmas Lights (Letting in the Light #1.5)" by Fae Sutherland

3.5 stars out of 5

A sweet Christmas story - don't ask me why I was reading it in September! - about two very different men, the young and outgoing Rowan and the older and more private Finnegan. I haven't read the first book in the series yet but I plan to get it as soon as possible, the characters and their story was intriguing!

Wonderful! This felt more like a romance with a mystery twist. And Miss Marple, dear Miss Marple with her white curls and funny faces, was as fantastic as ever. Seriously, there should be more heroines like Geraldine McEwan's Marple!

Inspector: Mr. Erskine was telling the truth. First wife alive and kicking. With second husband and six kids.
Marple: Six children?
Inspector: And fifty sheep.

*snorts* Hilarious! Miss Marple's face... O_o Perfect, perfect!

Spoilers! )

So many famous actors in this one! Sophie Myles (Beth in Moonlight), Geraldine Chaplin, Anna-Louise Plowman (Osiris in SG-1), Philip Davis (the cab driver in Sherlock 101), Una Stubbs (Mrs. Hudson in Sherlock)... I'm loving it!
