I honestly don't know what to think about this book. The island was wonderfully described, but! Sex without lube? No food the whole day long? I think it would've been better if it ended just two pages in, with Scott meeting Jaunay just after asking the island king for a man, that would've been magical. The rest though... I was just too boggled by the logistics of what was happening. I did love the "I'm coconuts over you!" declaration, but the rest felt... weird.

You know, I don't like beauty contests. I think they're mostly demeaning, citing the girls' measurements and pedigree as if they were cows on the auction block, but the new Miss Universe? OMG, she's GORGEOUS! Miss Leila Lopes from Angola...

Suits 106-108

As much as I like this show, the shipping is horrible: Mike/Jenny, Mike/Rachel, jealousy all around... Soap opera, here we come! It totally ruined ep 107 for me, because ( spoilers! )

I really hope this ep was a fluke.

Harvey is still rocking awesome. But, from time to time, I'm getting slightly annoyed with Mike. I mean, I know that he's the "heart" of the show but his naivety is quite... Well, IMHO, there's naivety and then there's stupidity and he's sliding dangerously close to the latter. The mistakes he makes, like when ( spoilers! )

I mean, I get that he's the character-to-grow, the main hero whom we shall see develop, but I would prefer subtlety, this is sometimes pretty ham-fisted. Eh, I guess I prefer Harvey ;) And Donna. Donna's fantastic!

I still like the show a lot, but I do hope there'll be as few eps as 107 as possible.
