... The diner scene. Yes, yes, I'm talking about this week's Supernatural!

I think that this episode - and this scene in particular - proved that Dean's at the center of all the relationships in this show, he's the focus. For Bobby, he's his favorite "son". With Castiel, he shares a "profound bond". And for Sam, he's the most beloved person in the world. And I mean that in a perfectly gen way. I think Dean's the one holding them all together.

Man, this episode was awesome. I want to roll in the pretty!

McCoy calls Kirk before he calls the police.

He can't remember what he says, but Kirk finds him in a blood-splattered room on the third floor. The display on his cell phone reveals only four minutes have passed from the time he put the call through to Kirk dropping down on his knees next to McCoy and pulling him firmly against his chest.

McCoy curls into Kirk easily, lets Kirk's hands dig into McCoy's neck and head to keep him as close to his pounding chest as he can. He smells like cigarette smoke and gin and McCoy nearly rattles apart under the familiar smells saturating his body.

I rec'd this fic already, some time ago, but now I've listened to the podfic version - and man, I'm still just as much in love with it as back then. It's so dark, but the love between Kirk and Bones is even more profound because of that.

"Fast Five" completely dominated the box office bringing in $83.6 million over the weekend. The number blew away the previous film in the franchise, which brought in $71 million its opening weekend. The franchises' fifth film starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Paul Walker is Universal's best opening ever ("The Lost World: Jurassic Park" -- $72.1 million). Link

Wow. I'm smitten. What a fantastic fic - and podfic. I love the atmosphere, the mystery of The Hunter. This fic needs a sequel like whoa!

Rec: "Waiting For My Real Life To Begin", definitely. This is my favorite SGA future fic because I can so see it happening, Rodney and Jennifer breaking up because a) she's in her 20s, he's 40 and b) they have absolutely nothing in common. Neither of them is portrayed as a bad person, they just don't fit together.
