Day 17 - Your favorite SPN friendship

Dean and Castiel. Castiel had been so... otherworldly and detached and then he met Dean who turned his world upside down and Cas started to actually care which was something he had never experienced before.

Synopsis... )

Review: A good book. Fast action, lovable, intriguing characters, laugh-out-loud humor - especially the scenes with Bones and Justina, Cat's mother, are hilarious - but also tragedy. On the other hand, I do find these books slightly vulgar; the sex scenes remind me of cheap porn.

Oh, and I couldn't believe what the author did to Randy. He was one of the most fascinating characters, being immune to vampire powers, and I was looking forward to getting to know him better. Not gonna happen now and that's too bad.

I really like Jed and Ryan, but the rest of the characters? Meh. Kate's always harping about something, Molly's an annoying loser who lives off her friend and don't even get me started about Kate's asshole of a father, the way he talks to Jed, his own nephew, is really disturbing. But Jed and Ryan, their budding friendship and their issues - Jed's stay in a mental hospital and Ryan's brother's murder - are enough to keep me watching for now. And it also doesn't hurt that Jed's a psychic and Ryan's possibly/probably gay ;) I also have to wonder who keeps sending Jed those messages. And the Bedlam asylum where everybody lives is über creepy!

Mountie and Soul: An episode about boxing. I hate boxing. Why does every show have to have an ep about boxing? Or horse racing? Or - the worst case scenario - both at some point?

Bounty Hunter: I liked the way Fraser and the female bounty hunter connected. But I hated her kids, what a bunch of ill-behaved, obnoxious brats! Kids like that are the best contraception one could use *shudder* Oh, and I loved seeing Fraser in casual clothes, in jeans and a flannel shirt.

Seeing Is Believing: This was a great episode, the way Welsh, Thatcher and Ray all saw something different when the murder occurred and the only one who could've cleared the whole thing, Fraser, was chasing a purse snatcher! My favorite part? Fraser demonstrating that it was possible to throw a knife across the room and hit a target with enough force to kill. Ray's LOOK when Fraser hit the first knife with the second. Man... And how angry Ray was when Fraser almost got himself stabbed! One of the best episodes so far!
