SPN meme - day 4

Day 4 - Your least favorite season

It would be a toss between season 3 and season 5, but for very different reasons.

S3 was a) cut short so the storyline felt rushed and b) there was Bela Talbot, tainting many episodes with her disgusting presence - as I said, I'm simply unable to re-watch ANY episode she was in, so out of the 16 episodes, 6 are bared for life for me.

S5 had a good storyline but I intensely disliked how at odds the brothers were with each other which was one of the reasons why I was so glad that S5 wasn't the end, that the story continued. I mean, I love SPN flavored angst, but only when the brothers angst together ;P

Review: Loved the book, especially the supernatural part. And the fact that Julian was not the author's typical hero, Julian was namely - as he was called in the book (it was the 20s, don't forget!) - a "pansy" which didn't sit well with Flynn, the other main character, at least at first.

One thing that I didn't like, though, was the abrupt ending. I expected an epilogue, at least.

Fast Five

Man, I just love the Fast Five Super Bowl trailer! I want to roll in the pretty. It has me so hyped for the movie. Brian and Dom and their hijinks once more, woohoo!

Watching Donald Strachey

On the Other Hand, Death: Margot Kidder! And so many other famous actors! Man, these films have amazing casts!

I really liked how all the storylines came together in the end, all neatly tied. And the showdown at the very end was awesome, the way Donald needled them all against each other!

I love the detective that Donald always turns to, the poor, suffering guy. But he does have a soft spot for Donald, even if Donald usually costs him a lot of paperwork!

Kenny Kwan rules!

I loved all the couples in this film:

- The lesbian pairing, they were so awesome - once they stopped lying to each other, that is!
- The boys! I think this film fits our time perfectly, with the gay teenager suicides. When Donald talked to the boys and they just stood there after he left, holding hands... That was so sweet. And then, when Donald visited the boy's father and brought him pictures from autopsies of teenage suicide victims to shake him up, to make him listen. Man, that was awesome!
- And then there were Timmy and Donald...

Timmy and Donald are... Wow, I love them more and more with each movie. When Timmy's first, Andrew, tried to kiss Donald and Donald told him no and then asked him, all pissed, if he did stuff like that to Timmy too... And then, when Andrew said out loud that he had kissed Donald, right in front of Timmy... Tim was so upset. But their talk in the stairwell was so cute - just like the girls going all "Aww..." And the last scene, Donald and Tim arguing about their second date... Ha! So funny :P

Only one movie left. Puh :(
