To Read - Day 8
Oct. 1st, 2010 12:37 pmI'm completely forgetting about this one...
Day 8: Geoffrey Knight's "The Riddle of the Sands" (Fathom's Five #2)

Synopsis: The clock is ticking! Blackmailed by Jake's nemesis - the vengeful Pierre Perron - Professor Fathom's team of five horny gay adventurers is sent on a seemingly impossible mission to uncover the legendary Riddle of the Sands in order to save one of their own from a rare and deadly poison. But what is the Riddle of the Sands? Where are the long-lost clues and hidden maps that can lead to its whereabouts? Is it a myth, a mirage, or the greatest engineering feat in the history of ancient Egypt? From the icy plains of Siberia to the shadowy bathhouses of Cairo, from the scorching valley of the Nile to the heart of the Amazon jungle, readers join these hunks — treasure-hunter Jake, Brazilian biologist Eden, Texas cowboy Shane, art expert Luca, and quarterback Will — in a search that blends nonstop action and high-octane sex!
Why I want to read it: Come on! It's the gay Indiana Jones! :)

Oct. 1st, 2010 09:47 pmNCIS star Michael Weatherly okay after car accident:
Thank Goodness! Man, I almost had a heart attack reading about him being in a car accident! Love him.
TMZ reports that the actor was driving near Universal Studios in Los Angeles when another driver apparently cut him off as lanes were merging at the Barham pass, which connects Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley. Weatherly swerved to avoid the car and hit a cement slab, bashing in the front of his car.
An ambulance arrived, but Weatherly didn't need to be transported to a hospital.
