Honestly, I have no idea what's going on in this manga anymore. It just feels like the author was dragging it out just to... drag it out, you know? Or maybe she had no idea how to end it? Maybe she got lost in all the twists and turns? I have no idea. But nothing makes sense anymore. And the giant panda's just painful. Luckily, there are only 2 vols. left in this particular series, otherwise I would've dropped it.

Not bad. Fewer shows than I expected. Strange...

My B-day is in 14 days, so I ordered me some books from Amazon DE - I always say, if you want to get exactly what you wish for as a present, buy it yourself. And behold my eclectic taste:

"The Threesome Handbook: A Practical Guide to Sleeping with Three" by Victoria Vantoch
"X/1999 Vol. 2+3" by CLAMP
"Manga Love Story Vol. 1" by Katsu Aki
"Black Lagoon Vol. 2+3" by Rei Hiroe
"Tsubasa Vol. 23+24" by CLAMP
"A Foreign Love Affair" by Ayano Yamane

Yeah... XP

So, I gave Terriers a try, heard it was a good "buddy cop" show - unfortunately, it didn't click for me. Don't know why exactly, maybe because of the actors in the main parts? Who knows. But I didn't find it gripping or interesting in any way and not even all that funny. So, I'll pass on this show...

I haven't laughed so much reading a book since... forever. Masami and Toru's futile pursuit of a night alone. Atsushi asking Masayoshi what a blow-up doll was and if Masayoshi wanted one for Christmas. Just hilarious! The only thing I didn't like much was the over the top crazy table tennis tournament at the very end, it reminded me too much of "Gravitation". But the rest was awesome!

"Paradox Suite" by wordstrings, read by fayjay | John/Sherlock | H/c | John Watson is a man who is comfortable with paradoxes. | Sequel to "An Act of Charity" | 5.500 words/40 mins.

"How dare he touch you. Drug you, shut you up in the dark. How dare he steal from me. I would have drowned that son of a bitch like a bag of kittens," he says fiercely.

Unsurprising.

"That is, supposing I'd lived through it, but I don't think I would. I don't think people can feel like that and survive it. I only had a bit of it, you were alive, but you aren't supposed to leave me. You aren't meant to leave me, ever, and you did. It wasn't your fault. But I couldn't stand it."

I just love the matter of fact way in which Sherlock says words like "I love you," like it's something that's so obvious there's no need to state it aloud...

Gimmick

I noticed that when people cross post their DW entries, the user names in their text lead back to DW even if the person they mention does not have a DW account and they actually mean their LJ account. So, I found an interesting gimmick:

Rather than < lj user="handle" > it is < user name="handle" >. If you want to mention someone from a different service you can do < user name="handle" site="livejournal.com" > or insanejournal.com or archiveofourown.org. If you're crossposting, the crossposter will render all those options as appropriate html. Link.
