Seriously, I just read a review of SV's S8 ep Requiem, you know, the one where Lex dies? And the reviewer said that Clark didn't grieve for Lex at all.

What the...! Yes, because when you are glad/indifferent about someone's death, you skulk around the site where he died at night, all red-nosed and wet-eyed. Right. And the fact that there was no continuity in the following episode? Well, Clark lost Lana in Requiem too and he didn't seem all that heart-broken about it next week either, IMHO.

I think that me and the reviewer, we saw two completely different episodes...

All right, yes, I'm doing the virtual "Kama Sutra" with Clark Kent. My desk is soft-core central.

Boring. I didn't think I would ever say that about a Clamp manga but this one was seriously boring, I didn't care for the characters at all. The only saving grace? The twist at the end, that I didn't expect. Not even the pretty drawings could save the manga this time. I mean, it's yet another variation of the same old, same old "three girls fall into an alternate universe where they receive magical powers to save a princess" theme. I won't be buying the 2nd omnibus.

121 Tempest: Loved how the beginning was filmed, with Lex and the helicopter - and "What Do I Have To Do" by Stabbing Westward playing in the background. Man, that song fits Lex and Lionel perfectly. I loved the whole Lex storyline in this ep, the employee buyout, that he sacrificed his mother's stock to afford it - and that he still had time for Clark, that was cute. The scene in the barn where he tied Clark's tie was so incredibly cute. Though when he warned Clark that a relationship based on lies couldn't survive - ouch! Chloe was awesome in this one. Lana and Whitney were boring, but that's their usual state of being, so no surprise there. This marks the last ep of real!Whitney, doesn't it? And Nixon was creepy - when he blew up the truck with Clark in it, man, the first time I saw the ep, I jumped! I didn't expect that at all. But the tornado CG was so, so bad XD

And I'm done with S1! What now? Continue with S2 or Fringe S1 first? Decisions, decisions...
