Day 30 - Saddest character death:
Off the top of my head?
Robin of Sherwood, the death of Michael Praed's Robin. I cry like a baby every time I see it. When he gives Marion his sacred sword Albion and sends her and Much away, when the sheriff's men surround him on the top of the hill and he just stands there and smiles at them - and then you see the arrows flying and then nothing. And when Will Scarlet and Little John and Friar Tucker return to their camp, all smiles and laughter, and Marion stands there, in the middle of the camp, holding Albion to her chest. Man, just writing it makes me all tearful.
And another death...
Days of Our Lives - yes, the US soap opera ;P - and the death of Isabella. Her dying of cancer. When John takes her in his arms and walks out onto the balcony so that she can take one last look at Venice. And he holds her and she dies in his arms. And then he keeps on standing there, looking out at the city, holding her dead body tight and crying silently, just like that. Even after years and years, that one stayed with me.
And I'm done with the meme! :)
