Day 19 - Best TV show cast:

Well, I would say SGA but that would be cheating, I've used the SGA card too many times already so... something else... WhiCo! Ugh, I used that too many times too...

Leverage, that's one I haven't mentioned yet! Awesome cast! So funny. And I hope that now that Gina Bellman's back, the show will get back on track again. Oh, don't get me wrong, I love Jerri Ryan - I've loved her since Seven of Nine! - but the original cast clicked perfectly, they played off each other so well when Gina had to drop out for some time because of her pregnancy and let Jerri replace her. After the smooth beginning of S2, the change seemed... jarring. But I'm glad that my favorite team is back together again! \o/

Fic rec: CWRPS

"The Morning I've Never Seen" by Chash. J2. Summary: AU. In which Jensen is possibly a monk, Jared is definitely the love of his life, and they both might be animals, I guess I never specify. Length: 1.500 words.

"What do you seek?" he asks the pilgrim of the day. One of the ducks quacks irritably at him, which doesn't really help the wisdom-of-the-ages routine.

"I need advice," says the pilgrim.

"Tell me of your troubles," says Jensen. He feels like a douche, but people expect monks to be dignified.

Of course, the ducks are still pecking him, so it's not really an ideal situation for dignity.

What I love most about this fic is the atmosphere. It's such a happy, slow-burn, non-angsty story... \o/

Review: Still flirting dangerously with shota - which is not my thing - and there's gratuitous nudity, way too many sex jokes - both heterosexual and homosexual - and needless cross-dressing, but the series is strangely addictive, go figure. I was glad to learn more about Asagi and Izumi and about who actually Asagi's boss is - very surprising that one!
