"The Mute Shepherd" by Auburn. John/Rodney, Rodney/Keller, Keller/Mitchell, other pairings implied. Summary: John's never been able to ask for what he wants, but sometimes silence itself is the sin. Length: ~34.000 words.

"Well, Colonel? Get back to work," he said while scowling at John.

"Yes, sir," John replied. He came to attention and saluted, which just made O'Neill roll his eyes, though he casually returned the salute.

"Now I've got to find another damn aide," he grumbled as he walked away.

This fic is really great. Set after EatG, it tells the story of how Atlantis returned to the Pegasus galaxy, though it mostly focuses on John. I love these fics, stories that describe how the city and the crew returned home in rich detail...

Wow, that was... amazing. Confusing as ever, even more than usually, to be honest, but still amazing. I didn't expect so much exposition in the last part. We finally found out a bit about Watanuki, who/what he really is. Wow, I didn't expect that. But I probably should have. In the light of Tsubasa, it makes perfect sense. And it explains so much, all the loose ends are coming together. And I'm loving the friendship between Watanuki and Domeki more and more with every volume. I loved the part where Domeki told Kohane why he became friends with Watanuki. Though I have to say that Watanuki, his whole life and his fate, it's really tragic and it makes me pretty sad...

This one even has a name: "Like a Turtle"

Peter didn't believe that Neal lost his memory. Well, okay, he hadn't believed it until he came to pick up Neal on Monday morning to drive him to yet another neurologist and Neal opened the door.

Scuffed sneakers, white-washed blue jeans, green and brown checkered flannel shirt under a soft grey hoodie, glasses with thick black frames and no hair products whatsoever - maybe not even a comb.

That was the order in which Peter noticed Neal as he looked him over from his toes to the top of his head and back. Peter blinked. And blinked again.

Neal smiled at him uncertainly, stuffed his hands into his pockets and raised his shoulders up to his ears in what looked like an aborted shrug. He reminded Peter of a ridiculously cute myopic turtle.

"We need to find you a good doctor," Peter decided, all his doubts gone. "Now."

*giggles and runs away*
