Clamp's "Tsubasa Chronicle Vol. 6+7" (manga), #66, #67

Vol. 6: Oh my, the drinking binge was hilarious! Fye and Sakura mewling and Shaolan wanting to fight a chair with a spoon. And Kurogane's "I will kill you all!" look. Ha! I laughed out loud, it was that funny!

Vol. 7: Wow, Seishiro is creepy! He doesn't look as handsome as in "X" or "Tokyo Babylon" but the creepy smile is still in place. For the longest time I couldn't figure out who he was looking for - and then, when it was revealed, I went "Duh!" Let's just say that I don't know that much about the Clamp-world.

You know what I love about this manga? The characters are having fun and bashing things and suddenly, there's this somber moment and you learn something new about them and you realize that despite all appearances, they are actually very lonely people.

Incorrigible

I'm incorrigible. I make a tiny dent in the piles of books in my closet and what do I do? Yes, I buy some more *head/desk* This time two gay mystery books:

Neil Plakcy's "Mahu: A Hawai'ian Mystery", A Kimo Kanapa Mystery - I wanted this book for the longest time and they finally made a reissue!
Chuck Zito's "Habit For Death", A Nicky D'Amico Mystery - this one sounds pretty funny :P

And I would like to buy another batch of manga soon, especially Clamp's "Tsubasa Chronicle" - I'm reading vol. 8 now which is the last one that I have got and there are like 22 vols. out in Germany!
