You Higuri's "Gorgeous Carat Vol. 2" (manga), #45

One word: Azura. He must be one of the most gorgeous villains in the history of manga. Platinum blond hair, dark skin, one azure blue eye, an eye-patch, long robes... A beautiful devil. I love the scene where Ray realizes that he should have trusted Floréan instead of Azura. The Morocco arc is where the manga gets really interesting!

You Higuri's "Gorgeous Carat Vol. 3" (manga), #46

This is definitely not a manga for kids. Azura really likes to shoot and torture people and there's also the implied non-consensual sex - yes, it's only implied, never actually shown, only indicated with shadows and rumpled clothes. I actually love the style that You Higuri chose, that she didn't go for graphic details. This way, the whole thing has a much bigger impact. I also love that in this manga, sexual assault actually does have consequences, the character doesn't just bounce back like nothing happened at all.
