I can feel my excitement for this show returning! \o/ But no new eps until March? Puh :( I bet that they are keeping the myth arc for the sweeps.

The CW orders a 'Vampire' pilot

"Vampire Diaries," from WBTV and Alloy, is based on Alloy's 15-year-old series of novels, which are enjoying a resurgence with their reprinting in the wake of the success of "Twilight."

It centers on a tragic young heroine who is the object of passion for two vampire brothers -- one good, one evil -- who are at war for her soul and for the souls of her friends, family and other residents of the small town in which she resides.

Funny, some time ago, my boss gave me these books for reviewing. I still didn't get around to read them... This might be actually interesting - if casted right, that is - but then, anything is better than yet another soap about spoiled rich misunderstood girls.

I bought a CD with relaxation music, "Best Chill-Out", mixed by Silver Fox. So far, it's great. I love music like that - new age, relaxation, reiki etc. - it's perfect for when you need to drown out irritating outside noise and concentrate on work. These CDs are really cheap and quite relaxing, music without words...

There's nothing more pathetic than an author reviewing his/her own work and rating it five stars. It makes me roll my eyes very hard and I usually pass these authors as lame attention-grabbers.

I defriended some people over on GoodReads. I started to really dislike those friends' collectors who don't read at all, just add people to their flist to... I don't know what they do with thousands upon thousands of friends when they have obviously no interest in reading...
