It's really hard to find h/c stories in this fandom - mostly, it's fluff and fun and short ficlets. This story is maybe too... woobie!Casey (the part where he passed out just didn't click) but I like how Casey tries to help Dan, that he refuses give up on him. That's cute :)

From what's written there, it's obvious that they both understand Patrick Jane's character and they know where they want to take him. The creator is obviously not pulling the storylines simply out of his butt on weekly basis. Also, blurbs like "the new CBS drama The Mentalist, the sole breakout hit of a dismal fall TV season" don't hurt either ;P

Okay, it's all cyndrarae's fault. No, really. Why? We started talking about the movie The Covenant and she made it sound so irresistible that my fingers fairly itch to buy it on DVD. Amazon.co.uk offers it for 5 pounds only! *bites nails* Come on, it's Taylor Kitsch! Gorgeous guys doing magik! And so slashable! *whimpers*

Wow, I'm floored. My Sports Night DVDs arrived. I ordered them last Tuesday from Canada! The delivery date was set for Jan. 31th 2009! And they are here. Now. Instead of a month, it took the box set not even a week to arrive! I'm... floored. I have no words. Wow!

Also, and now I will be very rude, I have had fucking enough of people who watch Supernatural - I can't call them fans - complaining about the series being either a Dean!show or a Sam!show. For Christ's sake! There are stories that need to be told and sometimes it's Dean's story, sometimes Sam's. I didn't complain when at the beginning, one of the main storylines was Sam going/not going dark. I won't complain now that Dean's discovering what role he plays in the whole Heaven vs. Hell thing. I like both storylines, evil!Sammy and angelic!Dean, or what do you want to call them. Why does it have to be the one or the other? *hands* Like children, really. I still like the show but the fandom is nuts! X(
