According to this article the writers and the networks may start negotiating again on Nov. 26th. I don't think that this will lead to a fast resolution of this whole mess - I'm kinda afraid that this season is doomed - but at least they are talking again *shakes head*
Last night, I had a great time re-reading my old favorites...
The Magnificent Seven AU gen fic "Hospital" by Mel. In this modern AU fic, Chris' mother married Vin's father when Chris was seventeen and Vin five. Since then, they have been the best brothers ever. Now, Vin's kidnapped and after he's found he has to spend many weeks in a hospital, recovering. During that time, the readers get to know them better through a series of flashbacks. I love the fic, truly and honestly!
Supernatural AU Wincest fic "Old Ghosts" by Gillian Middleton. In this fic, Sam and Dean meet and fall in love without knowing that they are actually brothers because they were separated after their father had abandoned them in a motel room. It's an excellent and long read and like all Gillian's fics, it's made of awesome!
