Hey, eight hours of sleep! Who invented this miracle and didn't tell me? *bliss*

So, "Oleander House" by Ally Blue. Oh my gosh, it's so good! Last night, I had to force myself stop reading and go to bed. Dude, finally a book that's completely engrossing! I thought that they stopped writing those :D Definitely better than "Willow Bend", another book by the same author.

It kinda reminds me of the Gundam Wing fanfic "Murder of Crows" by Karen. You know, the one where the boys are accompanying Relena from the conference with rebels back home and their plane crashes and they have to spend a couple of days in this abandoned mansion that's haunted by this terrible "thing" that tries to kill them. Oh my, I need to re-read that one *bouncy*

Off to work!

Poll!

So, you feel like reading a book, a romance to that *g* And there are two of them lying on your table and you know that both of them are excellent, cream of the crop! But! One of them is a gay romance, the other is het. What book would you choose?

[Poll #1084434]

It annoys me that people compare Supernatural to Buffy. Supernatural is urban fantasy, real - is it an oxymoron? XD - ghosts and creepies that you can find on the net or in chronicles, it's mostly filmed outside and it has a really small cast. Buffy had cartoonish demons with funny names, most of it was filmed in studios and it had a huge cast. Supernatural is horror/thriller aimed at mature audience, Buffy was a fantasy teenie show, especially in the first seasons and they kept adding teeny characters to keep teenagers interested. The only thing these two series have in common are demons and that's it. That's like comparing William Shakespeare to Walter Scott. Sure, they were both English writers *rolls eyes*

-> So, apparently - and me crossing my fingers here - Lost may be back in February, Thursdays at 8/7c. I hate Lost so why am I talking about it? Because I want Smallville to have at least some competition! Lets see how they'll fair against Lost *eg*

-> Thanks to the writers' strike, Lost's new season may have only 8 episodes and Heroes: Origin will be pushed back to summer 2008 or they may can it completely in the end. Go, writers, go *snort*

-> I'm losing interest in Heroes and this time it's worse than ever before. This show totally jumped the shark with the Old Japan storyline and the new characters bore me to tears *yawn* If they keep it up and I'll stop watching completely because, dude, there are many more interesting show. Besides, Heroes didn't reach even 10 mil. viewers this week which is really low for this series. No wonder they call it a "one season wonder" *shakes head*

-> Off to watch Chuck!
