First, a friend of mine wakes me up with an SMS to ask me if I'll go to our Japanese class today. WTF! Couldn't she ask me that last night on ICQ? Did she have to wake me up?! Sometimes people forget that i don't go to work, I work from home so I don't get up in the frickin' wee hours of the morning! *huffs*

Besides, I didn't even know that our Japanese class is taking place today. I mean, Masako-san does have my email - she asked me for it - and she promised to contact all of us beforehand! Obviously, all of us doesn't include me! WhatEVER!

And then there was this Supernatural spoiler by Kristin E! that got me all rilled up. I mean, that woman should really triple check all she announces because even if she IS a gossip columnist, more than a half of her "gossip" is wrong or a flat-out lie!

Yes, five hours of sleep will mess up even my zen-attitude of the last couple of weeks! *needs coffee*

... even though our dog tried to run away AGAIN. I swear I will throttle that mut one day! *grumbles*

But then I had fried cauliflower with potatoes and lettuce for lunch and while eating, I watched the amazing "Midsummer Murders" on TV. I mean, Inspector Barnaby rocks. He is so sarcastic and nothing ruffles his feathers. A true British whodunit show :D

And it's raining outside which is - believe it or not - a good thing because the drought is starting to freak everybody out, it's that bad.

Back to work now...

Last night, I was browsing Amazon, just looking at the jigsaw puzzles they offer there... Nya, what surprised me is that there are so many ugly ones there! Yikes. You see, I love puzzles with Thomas Kinkade's pictures. Some call them kitch, but when I look at them, I feel peaceful and warm and simply good. There are no harsh edges, only smooth lines and colors. But I must tell you that even in my country, they offer many many more puzzles with his pics *surprised*

You know what I don't like? When authors label their het stories as gen. That's a pretty common occurrence especially in the The Magnificent Seven fandom. A good portion of the gen fics includes Chris dating Mary at some point. I don't exactly mind het stories but I want to know what I'm getting into!

Someone started a petition for Danneel Harris to appear on Supernatural? *rolls eyes* That's like the fourth or fifth petition of some sort just this month!

And now to the recs:

Charmed: "Of All the People" by teal-lover - if you want to read a good gen Charmed fic that concentrates mostly on the relationship between Wyatt and Chris, pick this one. It's really good and long and finished! In this story that's set shortly after Chris Crossed, Wyatt starts thinking about what Chris means to him and what's Chris doing...

Supernatural: "Godzilla" by [livejournal.com profile] quellefromage - it's a gen fic and very much on the hurt!Dean side. It's a coda to both The Benders and Born Under a Bad Sign. Dean gets injured again and again and he remembers that when he got hurt as a child in a car accident, he and his father watched the movie Godzilla together making all the hurt better. A very touching and long story :)
