I've spent the last 5 days working and working and working until all the brain cells I had left took off. And so, I decided to take a day off myself too.

I went to the mall with my twins friends (yes, I really made friends with identical twins and it took me quite some time to tell them apart but now I can do it rather well ;). We ate lunch at KFC (yummy, yummy!), then we cruised the mall, I bought two pairs of shoes that were on sale and we drunk a fresh juice shake (yummy, yummy!). And then we headed for the Havana Club in the town's centre where we drunk some more juice and ate a banana split (yummy, yummy!). And we talked - about Amazon and Prince of Tennis, about astrology and Prince of Tennis, about mystery stories set in old Japan (I. J. Parker and L. J. Rowland's books in particular) and Prince of Tennis (recurring theme? XD)...

It was a fantastic day and I really needed it to re-charge my batteries.

Oh, and a question at the very end: Does anybody know of any other mystery/detective stories set in "weird" or "unusual" places like old Japan (the aforementioned authors excluded), old China (R. van Gulik's work excluded) or other places?
